Choctaw Tribe - William Rutledge

I have potentially located one of my ancestors on a Dawes card, as a rejected Mississippi Choctaw. Are copies of these cards or any other data available? I am referring to card number MCR1868, William Rutledge. Any info would be greatly appreciated. - Dawn Gallant

William: You can order copies of all documents by requesting them from the Southwestern Branch of the National Archives, P. O. Box 6216, Ft. Worth, Texas 76115. Be sure to ask for a copy of the original application also, as those contain much family information. The cost used to be about $16.50 per name for documents relating to the removals.
